In this day an age...

I won't go on like I always do about how I can't believe how big she is and that she is already one because it makes me sad and happy and I cried a few times yesterday thinking about it all. Anyone that has had a baby knows what I am talking about.

Alana knew she was 1 years old when she woke up! I sang Happy Birthday to her several times!

Victor works with some great people! One of the girls that works at the front desk called the hotel's Disney Rep and told them we were going to Disneyland for Alana's 1st birthday and so they brought over a little present over for Alana. We made her wait until the morning of her birthday to open the 2 presents she had. The Disney Rep gave Alana her first Mickey Mouse doll and her second set of Mickey Ears (Minnie) that said "Alana Rose" on the back. They were a present from "Mickey Mouse".

She kept her ears on all morning as she walked around the house.

Her second present was from my cousins Jennifer & Kwas. They won't be able to make it to the party on Saturday so they sent an early present. She LOVES her purse and even took time out to read the card!

For 1 year, Alana has been riding in her car seat backwards, because that's the law. So today for her first birthday we turned it around so she could see the world in a different view! On our way to Disneyland! Oh, my big girl!!

The first thing we did when we walked in the gate, we went to City Hall to get Alana her "1st Birthday" Pin to wear all day. (As if her shirt that says "1st Birthday" wasn't enough?) You'd be surprised at how many people asked how old she was today... People are dumb.

She is what we celebrate!

She walked around in Disneyland all by herself! People kept making comments about how well she walked for just being a year old.

Congrats to us for making it through the first year!!

Alana was such a Daddy's girl today!

I was trying to take a family picture and this girl in back of us stuck her face in the picture... Weird.

Alana LOVED to look at Whinnie the Pooh and Tigger from afar... but once we got up close, not so much...

Since Crystal was there for Alana's first visit, it was only apporpriate that she be there for her 1st Birthday too! She loves her Auntie Crystal!

Victor's Disney Rep arranged for us to get into the"Birthday Celebration Party".

We frosted and decorated our own Mickey cakes to eat.

This is the first time Alana has had cake. We wanted to wait until her birthday so it would be a special cake! She frosted it, decorated it and then ate it!

She LOVED the cake and mostly the sprinkles and didn't want to take the time to look up from eating for a picture. Mickey, Minnie and all their friend came out to visit with the kids. Between the loud music, all the kids screaming and clapping, alana wasn't too excited about it!

Last but not least we finally found a time where Mickey and Minnie were together and it wasn't crowded where Alana could visit with them!

She wanted to stay all night just to watch Mickey and Minnie.

We had such an amazing day and Alana had so much fun! Priceless pictures as usual! Everyone wished Alana a happy birthday and she got to walk ALL around Disneyland on her own! It was a great day!
