HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARTY ALANA!!!

This week was full of fun, happiness, a lot of first's, stress and it all turned out perfectly! Today was Alana's big 1st Birthday Party! Mickey Mouse themed! She spent the first part of the party walking around trying to chase Mickey Mouse on the ground. (The Shadow from her ears on her head)

Auntie Crystal bought Alana a few Mickey Mouse balloons and she couldn't get enough of them.

Time for the birthday cake! I don't think she loved everyone singing to her.

THANK GOD we only have to do this for the first year. She made such a mess and that frosting wasn't easy to get off of her but she ate a lot of it and loved it.

We got her all cleaned up and while everyone ate cake we opened presents. Alana did so good and took part in opening all of them. She loves to pull out tissue and read cards. She got some really awesome presents. Tons of books, this girl sits and reads books for hours, and has since she could turn the page. She got lots of pretty dresses, fun bath toys, baby dolls, her own cell phone and a beautiful Little Mermaid towel with her name on it! Very special stuff!

Alana got this awesome stroller/bike. Until she learns how to ride a bike we can push her around in this and then it turns into a bike later!


She did great today and didn't complain much (even though an hour before this she chocked and almost died and gave me a fricken heart attack)

The day ended with Alana walking down the driveway to the car with her Mickey Mouse balloons in hand.

I can't thank everyone enough for coming and for all the fun stuff she got! She really did have a great 1st Birthday party and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. Alana Rose, you are one very lucky girl to have so many people in your life that love you as much as we all do!
