Growing and Learning

Alana is going to be 4 months old this week and it's crazy to see the difference in the pictures from her first week with us until now! She loves this bouncer from my friend Anda, and slept in it the first few nights we came home from the hospital, it's the only place she was comfortable... and now she's outgrowing it, her feet hang off the front of it, it's crazy!!

She is becoming such a big girl! She has been sleeping all by herself in her beautiful room, in her crib for almost 2 months now! She is a great sleeper at night in her own space! (Which makes for a MUCH happier mommy and daddy)

She is learning so much! She opens her mouth when you try to kiss her! She is talking up a storm all the time and finding her tiny little girl voice! We are working on forming those sounds into the word "mama".

She just started to reach up and grab her toys or anything we put in front of her! Just to see her started to feel and grasp the world around her is the most amazing thing in the world! Oh, the wonderful joys of parenthood!

This is almost everyone on my dads side of the family. 49 years ago my dad, his brothers and sisters, and my grandparents came to California from New York to start their life here, and now, here we all are! Grandma Rose would be proud!

Meet Grace Nichole Jackson! Haley was induced and Grace was born on September 19! She was 8 pounds, 2 ounces. She has such a perfect little smile and lots of brown hair! She is going to give Alana a run for her money on all that hair! This is their first grandchild on both sides of the family, so I feel lucky to even get a few minutes with her! Congrats Eddie, Haley and the whole family.

7 pounds, 9 ounces.

1:36 am. 20 Inches long

After a really loooong day and night we passed the midnight mark. Jacquie was so amazing and did such a great job! She let me stay in the room when Lexie was born and it was just the MOST AMAZING thing in the entire world to see! She is the whitest white baby and is a spitting image of her father! I will post more pics after I can get down there again!

Angels Clinch the Division!!!

For all you Angel Haters (Crystal and Amanda), this post is for you baby!!!

The Angels wrapped up their fourth division title in five years by becoming the fifth-fastest team in Major League history, by date, to clinch a division in a 162-game season.

Beach Baby!!

With Aunt Ashley and Uncle David being here and renting a Beach House, we spent a few days with them there! This was Alana's first trip to the beach and as usual she slept through most of the actual beach! But here is her first picture on the beach with mommy!

Anyone who knows me knows that on our honeymoon we took my favorite picture of our feet together on the beach! We HAD to add our new family member to our favorite family picture! Her little piggy's are so darn cute!!

VEGAS BABY!!!!

Sooooo my best friend Ashley was here from Colorado and staying in Barstow for the first few days of her Beach trip! She was in Barstow because all of her husbands friends are there, and well of course Del Taco too! So Crystal and I decided that Barstow is half way to Vegas so why not go rescue Ashley from Barstow on Saturday night and head to Viva for the night? So we knocked on Ashley's hotel room door and swept her away to VEGAS BABY!!! Confused as hell as to why we were in Barstow she packed a few things and off we went to the Original Del Taco to get some food in our stomach before we headed out! As the sun set and all the lights of Vegas came alive as we crawled over the hill to Vegas and pulled into MGM, Sober Jamie was about to get into a fight with some jerk whole jacked our parking spot as we pulled in, but I figured, what the heck, I'm not drunk enough to fight anyone yet, so I just called him an asshole and went to find ourselves some alcohol instead! So off we went into MGM to find ourselves some yards at Fat Tuesdays!

As we take our 1/2 yards and extra shots (of course) we head inside the MGM where we came to the Lion Exhibit. Our perfect timing had the Lion's and trainers out showing off! They were amazing and I've never gotten the chance to see them up close and personal like Saturday night! They were just so beautiful!

Walking into New York, New York we find that they took out Ashley's Elvis slot machines. She was so sad and I knew the only thing that would cheer her up would be dancing on the bar in Coyote Ugly. So we sacrificed part of our time there and made our way into Coyote Ugly! The girl that was DJ'ing was so HOT! I couldn't take my eyes off of her! I think most of it is that I was imagining myself as her working in Vegas, with that body and dancing up on the bar for a living! Just jealous! Anyway, she got us to come up on the bar to dance. So we dropped our drinks and headed up to dance! Free shots up on the bar!!!

After awhile of dancing and having a great time inside we wanted to head outside to take in all the sights of Viva!! We made our way over to the Bellaigo and again, had perfect timing. We watched the water show and Crystal and I did the waltz to it at the same time! I think we were on our second yard (and extra shot) at this point.

The night wound down after Cesar's Palace and a looong walk back to the MGM and we crashed at Crystal's grandpa's mobile just down the street from the strip. It was such a great trip and Ashley had a lot of fun and was very thankful to be rescued from Barstow! (Too many spiders there!) These two girls are my best friends and I love spending time with them together! Love you girls!

Here comes another bride!

The last couple of months have been full of Baby showers, Bridal showers and Bachelorette parties!! It's been fun, but I can't wait for the BABIES and WEDDINGS already!!!!! Here is a picture of me and Michelle who is getting married on October 4th, just a few short weeks away!! It's crazy that's she's been engaged for so long and now the day is finally coming up! Oh beautiful brides all around!

That's right... it's Sarah's turn! October 11th is the big day! This weekend was her bridal shower! It was a beautiful day out and the shower was beautiful, as was the Bride to be!
