VEGAS BABY!!!!

Sooooo my best friend Ashley was here from Colorado and staying in Barstow for the first few days of her Beach trip! She was in Barstow because all of her husbands friends are there, and well of course Del Taco too! So Crystal and I decided that Barstow is half way to Vegas so why not go rescue Ashley from Barstow on Saturday night and head to Viva for the night? So we knocked on Ashley's hotel room door and swept her away to VEGAS BABY!!! Confused as hell as to why we were in Barstow she packed a few things and off we went to the Original Del Taco to get some food in our stomach before we headed out! As the sun set and all the lights of Vegas came alive as we crawled over the hill to Vegas and pulled into MGM, Sober Jamie was about to get into a fight with some jerk whole jacked our parking spot as we pulled in, but I figured, what the heck, I'm not drunk enough to fight anyone yet, so I just called him an asshole and went to find ourselves some alcohol instead! So off we went into MGM to find ourselves some yards at Fat Tuesdays!

As we take our 1/2 yards and extra shots (of course) we head inside the MGM where we came to the Lion Exhibit. Our perfect timing had the Lion's and trainers out showing off! They were amazing and I've never gotten the chance to see them up close and personal like Saturday night! They were just so beautiful!

Walking into New York, New York we find that they took out Ashley's Elvis slot machines. She was so sad and I knew the only thing that would cheer her up would be dancing on the bar in Coyote Ugly. So we sacrificed part of our time there and made our way into Coyote Ugly! The girl that was DJ'ing was so HOT! I couldn't take my eyes off of her! I think most of it is that I was imagining myself as her working in Vegas, with that body and dancing up on the bar for a living! Just jealous! Anyway, she got us to come up on the bar to dance. So we dropped our drinks and headed up to dance! Free shots up on the bar!!!

After awhile of dancing and having a great time inside we wanted to head outside to take in all the sights of Viva!! We made our way over to the Bellaigo and again, had perfect timing. We watched the water show and Crystal and I did the waltz to it at the same time! I think we were on our second yard (and extra shot) at this point.

The night wound down after Cesar's Palace and a looong walk back to the MGM and we crashed at Crystal's grandpa's mobile just down the street from the strip. It was such a great trip and Ashley had a lot of fun and was very thankful to be rescued from Barstow! (Too many spiders there!) These two girls are my best friends and I love spending time with them together! Love you girls!

Here comes another bride!

The last couple of months have been full of Baby showers, Bridal showers and Bachelorette parties!! It's been fun, but I can't wait for the BABIES and WEDDINGS already!!!!! Here is a picture of me and Michelle who is getting married on October 4th, just a few short weeks away!! It's crazy that's she's been engaged for so long and now the day is finally coming up! Oh beautiful brides all around!

That's right... it's Sarah's turn! October 11th is the big day! This weekend was her bridal shower! It was a beautiful day out and the shower was beautiful, as was the Bride to be!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ellie!

For Ellie's birthday Jacquie booked a flight on a little plane out of the Corona airport. Yes, Corona has a tiny airport! Ellie and Jacquie eat breakfast sometimes at the airport where Ellie can watch the planes take off and she always asks if she can ride in one. So Jacquie asked if there were people who charted airplanes and she was directed to the little building next door that did. For a minimal fee 3 people can go in a plane and fly over the area! They have different flights but we choose the shortest one. We weren't sure how Ellie was going to like it. Jacquie was nice enough to ask me to be the 3rd person to go with them!

We were supposed to wear these head phones in the air, Ellie let him fit her before we got on the plane, but wanted nothing to do with them once we got in the plane.

This was the little plane we were going to get on. Ellie was very excited to get on when she saw the plane.

I sat in the back with Ellie, she didn't want to help the pilot fly...

Neither did Jacquie, but I made her sit up there anyway! This is Spencer our pilot... he's 18 years old! UM..... yeah, that was interesting!

I tried to take Ellie's mind off of being that high up by pointing out everything I could on the ground, tiny cars, houses and trees. She was ok for the most part until she decided she just wanted to go home... so we told her we were heading home.

It was nice to be on solid ground again! Here is Jacquie, Ellie and our 18 year old pilot! YIKES! Once we touched the ground (which was very dramatic because it was windy as hell out there) Ellie wanted to go again! Figures!

Then of course no 3rd birthday would be complete with out getting all dressed up like a princess and going to Chuck E Chesse's!

Party time!!!

Saturday night was my good friend Michelle's Bachelorette Party! We had tons of fun! We went to dinner and then Sharkeez for some fish bowls and dancing!

Angels Day!

Sunday we went to the Angels game where they... yes, say it with me... SWEPT THOSE YANKEES! (Ha Auntie Crystal!)

Alana was awake for most of the game this time and seemed to be ok with the noise and everyone cheering and yelling! It was a very exciting game and Alana can't wait to go back to another one! She has a lot of Angels gear but we wanted to match this time, so I dressed her in this cute outfit. Victor said she looks like a boy, so we had to make sure she had a bow in her hair at all times!

Hailey is going to be 13 this year and is growing into such a beautiful young lady, it's pretty crazy to think about her being as small as Alana and now she's on her way to being a teen! *tear*

It's been awhile since I posted some pictures, so I have lots of new ones!

Alana is 2 months old today, and like every morning wakes up very happy and has the craziest faces and hair! That hair is untameable!




My sister Jacquie had her baby shower this weekend for her new little Lexie Jane, coming in September! She is doing great and we can't wait to meet Lexie!

Alana and I started to take this Mommie & Me class. This was a picture from our first week. I'm learning there are a lot of moms just like me out there that need adults to speak too during the day while they are at home with their baby! I think that each week they set up a little spot to take pictures in. Here is our first one! It was Disney Day, so Alana brought her Little Mermaid doll. I'm still trying to get her to smile on command!
