Halloween Part II

We headed over to Victor's mom's house to go trick or treating with the kids! That lasted all about one hour! All the kids this year were dark scary vampires or monsters! They were cute!

Some how the three of us managed to pick a different character from a movie! Indy, Snow White and Yoda!

Halloween Part I

I say part one because Friday was hectic and it felt like I had 3 Halloweens! I baked cupcakes and cookies to take to Victor's hotel for a potluck they had there! The girls that work for him, are always so sweet to me and invite Alana and I to everything! So we headed over there at noon for our first Halloween session for the day!

For those of you who wonder what I do with myself these days, not working and all... I have a full time job right here at home! Alana and Kali! Kali is my cousin's daughter. She will be 2 in a few weeks and I watch her most days during the week. Give or take a few days! But she is such a good little girl, I'm lucky to be able to stay home with Alana and watch a 2 year old that is really good, sweet and listens really well. This is Minnie Mouse and Baby girl yoda!

This is Indiana Jones and Yoda!

And this is Yoda! How cute is she? I put a pink bow on the top of the head so people would know she is a baby girl yoda! Or maybe Yoda's daughter? So many people are surprised we picked out Yoda for her first Halloween. Why not a fairy or butterfly or some cute little bunny? BLAH! Every baby this Halloween was one of those, so we picked out something different for her! Did you see any other baby girl yoda's out? Probably not too many! HAHA! Us, being different? Weird, I know! But look how damn cute she is!!! Jacquie is pretty sure she is going to hate us for this when she gets older but I'm pretty sure she'll like being a little different. (Not little yellow bus different) just unique! :)

Fall is in the air!

After the two beautiful weddings that were fall themed, it finally just feels like fall! We took the fam and headed up to Oak Glen for some Apple picking and cider! We thought it would be chilly up there in the mountains so we got dressed with tennies and jeans and headed out. Little did we know it was going to be 90 degree's out there! BLAH!

Alana wanted to eat her first apple while we were there!

Jacquie was using Ellie as her pole to pick apples!

Sleeping beauty Lexie with a snow white twist!

Not sure why, but this is a great boo-boo face that Alana has!

She LOVED to be out picking apples with Daddy! She loved to just look around and be out in the sun!

Pictures, Pictures!

So with all the weddings around I decided to post a slide show of our wedding pictures! Our wedding day was such an amazing day and we always talk about getting married again (to each other of course)... someday we will renew our vows and do it all again!

Before I started to Blog I had million of pictures, so every couple of weeks I'm gonna change the slide show to stuff that happened before I had this wonderful thing called a blog! So stay tuned!

But for today here is a GREAT picture that was taken before my blog and I don't see it enough! Don't ask, I have no idea!

Some New pictures!

Alana loves to be read too! She will sit and listen to any story, and her dad has millions of stories to tell!

Smile!

She's such a big girl now! She moves all over the living room on her back and her stomach! She's not rolling over yet, but I think she just might get up and crawl and not even mess with rolling over thing :)

Her shirt says it all "Sweet Baby Girl"

"Mom"

That's right! After about 136 days of me trying to get her to say mom... about 25 seconds into this video she says it!!! I assume it's in frustration trying to get me to shut up! But it worked! She says it a few times! Listen for it, it's towards the end!

I cried and then called Victor! It was by far the proudest moment of my life so far! She is learning to repeat words! YIKES! But it really made me so happy to hear it from her! We are working on trying to get her to say it again, and of course "dad" will be next!

Great Grandma & Great Grandpa

Alana is lucky enough to know her Great Grandparents! We went out to visit them today! She just sat there and stared at them the whole time, so they did the same back... it was really cute!

She is getting so big and can sit in her play saucer now almost without help. Still working on the smiling on cue thing.

Lexie Jane & Ellie Evans

Some cute pictures of the Evans girls!

This is Ellie and her little baby sister Lexie.

Ellie joined Ballet/tap class and LOVES it! Look how cute she is!

The new beautiful Bride!!!

Saturday was Sarah & Jake's wedding! It seems like it's been forever coming and it was finally here! The day couldn't have been more beautiful! The wedding was in Long Beach and the weather was just perfect! The tree's were in full bloom with the beautiful colors of fall, which made for the perfect setting for their fall themed wedding! Sarah looked stunning! Her dress was so beautiful and was just so perfect for her! Jake looked good too, but it's all about the bride anyway! (Sorry Jake)

Mrs. Headlee.... Awwwww!

Me and the amazingly beautiful bride!

This is the archway that Crystal and I decorated for Sarah!

This is the one for my frame!
Sarah's father walking her down the isle. Look at the train and how great it looks with the leaves all around!

You may now kiss the bride!

Such a happy bride! I know that smile.... it's the smile of a relieved Bride, so happy her day is here and now they can go on their amazing honeymoon to Jamaica!

Her very well dressed bridal party!

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath.
And emeralds from mountains thrust toward the sky
Never revealing their depth.
Tell me that we belong together,Dress it up with the trappings of love.
I'll be captivated,I'll hang from your lips,Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above.
I'll be your crying shoulder,I'll be love's suicide
I'll be better when I'm older,I'll be the greatest fan of your life.

Farewell SunCal!!

After 4 1/2 years working at SunCal I've decided not to return after maternity leave for Obvious reasons! Being home with Alana is the best thing for both of us in the long run! And honestly I couldn't see leaving my daughter with anyone besides me or Victor to raise. She would miss me too much anyway :) That would just be insane! So we are just going to make it work!

Leaving SunCal is really bittersweet! I have had a great run and have meet a lot of great people there! The company was about 80 people when I got there, maybe less. I started temping for a guy named Mike in May of 04. He loved me so much he asked that I be brought on full time! Lucky him or lucky me? But then I saw the company grow to be about 400 people! Day after day the company was growing and growing and I was so glad to be a part of that growth! Then of course as many companies did, when the market turned we grew smaller and smaller! I was just grateful they kept me around as long as they did. Alana saved my butt there :)

I'm posting some pictures of my favorite times there. I obviously don't have pictures of some things that I just can't describe... (i.e. word of the day, pooh dollar, 7, snipes) and all of the other "Nickisiums" we picked up! Those boys were crazy, and still are wherever everyone is today! But it's nice to look back at these pictures and see the fun times we did have!

Canfield's Birthday! He LOVED ALL these pink balloons! He was a great boss to me, father like (Although he isn't old enough to be my father), and always wanted the best for me! I really learned a lot from him! I'm not sure I'll ever have a greater boss!

SunCal Mixers outside on the patio!

From my first Halloween there in 2004!

To my last Halloween there in 2007. We made the BEST Snow White and the 7 dorks!

My boys there were crazy and we had a lot of memorable times!

But I loved them like my brothers!! (Well most of them anyway)haha

From my first Christmas party there! (How my life has changed since this picture)

To the LIFE long friends I've made while working there! I honestly couldn't have survived the last 4 1/2 years without these girls! They have been my sanity in that insane world we called work!

So... I'm kinda gonna miss the place, but all my original boys are gone now and it's a lot different from before so I'm kinda glad I'm gone! I'll still see my girls all the time and make trips into the office to show Alana off, but for now, Farewell SunCal!!
